Professor's exhibition

parigi exhibition

Just  a few words on this extraordinary art exhibition of Andrea  Parigi.
Andrea is an architect, a teacher, a painter and much more!
“Incontri  Straordinari” (extraordinary meetings) explains the subject of his paintings:
a  gallery of portraits representing   people who have left a relevant sign in Andrea’s life.
The technique he used is acrylic paint on the back of transparent plastic sheets 70X100cm.

“Of all these remarkable meetings, Andrea Parigi translated the traces left on him in a very happy art, which enjoys of itself (i.e. does not hide its own uniqueness behind a photographic hyperrealism, but express all the taste of a free brushwork, rich and dripping) but that also takes in the photographic gaze, because also photograph is a trace: it is an impression of reality. And it’s of photographs that are now made our visual memories. But then in our memory images are dyed with emotions becoming something difficult to translate. Unless to have Andrea’s talent.” Lucia Minunno
